The First Metaverse Women’s Summit:Harmony, Leadership, Innovation And Sustainability

The First Metaverse Women’s Summit was successfully held on March 8th, Beijing time through a metaverse platform XSpaces, on this very special day, we bring together wonderful speakers around the world, including the US, Canada, Australia, UK, Denmark, Singapore, and China, which influenced over half of the people worldwide.

March 8th is International Women’s Day! As women’s development is key to an equitable, peaceful and sustainable society, we convene world leaders on the date of March 8th, 2022, to gather together at metaverse to celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women all over the world.

Meanwhile, we invite global leaders to discuss Four major topics: gender harmony, women’s leadership, innovation, and the important role of women in achieving the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Our summit will also feature performances dedicated to women around the world, as well as launching a call to action for accelerating women’s overall development globally!

The event was hosted by Jing Zhao Cesarone, Chairman of GCSRF. With her precise questions and theme control, all the speakers brought wonderful theme discussions to the global audiences.

The observance of International Women’s Day dates back to 1909. International Women’s Day was celebrated for the first time by the United Nations in 1975 on March 8th as a day to reflect on issues that affect women past, present, and future, to honor women and their achievements, raise awareness about gender equality.

“Each woman plays a crucial role in shaping the society, and people all across the globe join hands to pay homage to women.” Said Jing, on this very special day, we bring together wonderful speakers around the world – “a truly global celebration”. She also shared her wonderful journey of women leadership and empowerment during the past 10years.

“We invited the best and brightest entrepreneurs and leaders together in XSpaces, it is an innovative platform for the creation of a metaverse”, said Richard Yuan JP, Chairman of Australia China Entrepreneurs Club while he delivered opening remarks for the summit.    

The summit focused on four topics:

Panel 1: HARMONY

The first speaker Angela R.M., Director-general of World Women Organization (WWO), focused on Gender harmony and women’s future development.

“Looking back at the past two years, much has happened that changed our lives” Angela R.M. points out that, “the world urgently needs mutual understanding, trust, a harmonious social environment, and family environment, especially as the family is an important unit of society”. She said, WWO has always emphasized the importance of harmony. Only in Harmony can a society, nation, and world truly strive. And gender harmony is the core of peace for humanity and an important cornerstone in building social harmony.

“Once women are economically independent, their household will benefit and then, how men can still forget their life associates when they sit down at the table of men to make policies?” Said Christiane ADOVELANDE, Consultant of Ministry of Family and Social Affairs of Benin.

“Today…The harmony becomes disharmony, the balance becomes imbalanced. In this time, we need to our female, our lady’s and our mother to step out of their zone to continue to affect our humankind, form constructing their soul repair this soul again.” Said Yun Xiang TSENG, dedicated of World Organization for Peace in the U.S.

Panel 2: LEADERSHIP

“As a firm believer of education, especially total on importance of early age development, I truly believe that advance of fundamental education aligns with united nations 2030 sustainable development goals in many ways”, said Margaret Zhu, Co-founder of “Better Future” Project of China Charities Aid Foundation for Children (CCAFC), “I hope our practice in China with the support of avant-garde technology, such as metaverse could pride a reference for implementing SDGs in other regions.”

“This is Leadership, ladies, and gentleman, it’s just not being politically a heavyweight or economically CEO or COO of any particular organization which does install issues with regard to promoting the SDGs. And making sure that we all are on the paths to achieving the targets or at least most of the targets of SDGs” Dr. Padmini MURTHY, MD, Secretary-General of Medical Women’s International Association said.

Qing YANG, CEO & Founder of Freshmess Agency & AliceLand.io, Lingyan Xiao, Chairman of Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark also shared their solid experiences of entrepreneurship and being a female leader in fashion and family perspectives.

Panel 3: INNOVATION

Debby LO-DEAN, Board of Directors at the Gold Coast Innovation Hub, Dr. Ally WANG, Co-organizer of CIEC, Crystal LIANG, Innoart Media Art director shared their insights view on female invocation.

Panel 4: SUSTAINABILITY

“Building a great global team, be a good woman, a funding partner to run a financial group is a wonderful working experience” Annie MA Chairwoman& Founding Partner of Ample Luck International Capital Group Ltd. Said, “build myself, create my independence also make me feel I always could give more and I always could create more, and I can always have the sustainable development.”

“As a young woman, I encourage more young people throughout the world to be aware of their social responsibilities and engaged in UN sustainable development goals. I believe that gender equality and women’s empowerment are prerequisites for worldwide peace and prosperity”, Chen WANG, Vice President of the Arts of Young Global Leadership Foundation mentioned at the summit.

“Together, we can achieve plan 5050 by 2030” Aishwarya NARASIMHADEVARA, Global Health Lead American Medical Women’s Association shared her UN experiences about being involved with various NGOs pertaining to culture, education and gender equality.

Xiaolan FU, Founding Director of the Technology and Management Centre for Development also shared her opinions on how the important role of women in achieving UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals

After Sing CHANG, CEO of Star Alliance Culture Inc. announced the official launch of the 2022 Miss International Fashion Travel Pageant, Jing delivered her closing
